Merchandising and Selling Products
e-CORE can handle a large range of different types of products and the information associated with these. We have worked with a wide range of businesses including vendors of musical instruments, electronics products, clothes, shoes, handbags, jewellery, fashion accessories, and cosmetics. Our product attributes cover all these products types and can easily be expanded to cover other industries.
Products can easily be categorised, and found by browsing within these categories, or with powerful search and filter capabilities. e-CORE facilitates multiple ways for the customer to find products, so the customer can purchase the right product in a hassle-free way that suits their shopping approach.
Once a customer gets to a product, e-CORE can present a wealth of information on this product ranging from title, description, colour and size, to supporting science (e.g. cosmetics) or care instructions (e.g. shoes). The customer can zoom in on multiple product images, to take a look at the product from multiple angles, and in multiple colours, ensuring they get as clear an impression of the product as possible and they are more likely to feel satisfied with making their purchase.
Product pricing can be varied with multiple price lists in multiple currencies, and with a fully integrated discounting system where products can be set up in bundles, and this pricing will automatically appear on the product page. Cross-selling is easy with related product carousels on all product pages, and most recently viewed products.
Product merchandising is supported by all manner of promotions, offers, and discounts available through our discounting system. This can be used to create product bundles, be this several of the same products for a reduced price, or a combination of products that would go well together for a fixed discount. Promotion codes can be sent out to users to target segments of the e-commerce web site customer base. Promotions can be configured for a customer’s first order to entice first time buyers, and reward points can be gained for repeat purchases and customer loyalty. The discounting system works for customers at all stages of the retail relationship, with different types of offerings for each market.
