Security of DOCdata UK

Security is paramount to DOCdata as we recognise the value of your products not only in monitory terms, but also for your business continuity and maintaining your service to customers.

Premises Security
- DOCdata is secured by perimeter fencing and electronically controlled gates, which provide access to both the Goods Inward and Despatch loading areas.
- Parking for private vehicles is separated from the despatch and loading areas and is secured by a manually operated barrier.
- All contractors delivering or collecting products from DOCdata UK are subject to on the spot vehicle searches on their departure.

Internal Security
- DOCdata is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Twenty-four hour CCTV surveillance cameras are located within the building and serve as a deterrent from potential theft. The camera network is constantly monitored by our security staff and historical data is recorded to provide audit trails if required.
- Only authorised personnel are granted access to DOCdata UK and every employee is individually assigned an electronic key fob to activate the door.
- DOCdata UK carry out 24-hour spot check employee searches.
- No bags are allowed onto the factory floor, all members of staff are issued a locker in which to keep their possessions.
- Mobile phones are banned in the factory, except DOCdata Managers. Visitors to the site are also asked to turn off their mobile phones at reception.
- All visitors must report to reception on arrival to be issued with a date coded identification badge, valid for one day only.
- A member of staff accompanies all visitors throughout their visit at DOCdata.

Product Security
- DOCdata has invested heavily in information technology systems to monitor every stage of the production process.
- All products move through the production process on a batch control, bar coded system.
- The batch control system records the quantity produced and tracks progress throughout the factory. DOCdata UK have procedures in place for the detection, reporting and investigation of overs and unders.
- Procedures are in place to ensure that all incoming and outgoing products are properly documented, marked, weighed and counted.
- All waste is kept in a secure skip and is treated as secure waste and is disposed of by an approved waste specialist.

Masters, Label Films and Print Work
- All masters and label films are stored in a secure location with restricted, coded access. The door code is changed regularly to provide extra security. Employees entering/leaving the area are also monitored.
- Print work is stored in a secure warehouse with limited access and a perpetual inventory is kept of all the stock we hold.
