Pearls & Popcorn selects Docdata for US website launch

November 23, 2011

Paris based children's wear brand Pearls & Popcorn have launched their first clothing collection in the United States for boys and girls from 3 to 36 months. The grand opening incorporated visuals projected across Times Square, New York, with in-store launches at a number of high profile retail outlets (Bloomingdales, JC Penny) across the country.

The stylish yet affordable brand is backed by a visionary concept involving the merchandising of products alongside ‘Baby Icons’ (3D animated baby characters, based on film and music icons from the past; such as Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe and Charlie Chaplin); each used to promote clothing bundles from the range, known as ‘Silhouettes’.

Docdata was chosen to provide website design and build, plus integration services to develop the US e-commerce solution. To facilitate the launch of the Pearls & Popcorn’s website, Docdata partnered with award winning hosting and ‘Fanatical Service’ provider, Rackspace®.

Thorough understanding of the Pearls & Popcorn brand identity enabled Docdata to not only meet their bespoke functionality requirements, but to also enhance the brands overall design aesthetic online. The result is a reliable, scalable solution that is SEO optimised, with an emphasis on clean design and a user friendly navigation experience.
